Tennant/Wallace Architects AIA PA is a full service architectural firm located in Manchester, NH.  The firm was formed in 1991 as an outgrowth of six years of Peter F. Tennant AIA and Thomas A. Wallace AIA working together at the firm of Ingram/Wallace Architects AIA PA. After a six year process of partial retirement, Tom Wallace fully retired from architectural practice in 2008. This transition involved Peter Tennant assuming the role of president in 2007 and maintaining the commitment to client care that has been the hallmark of the firm since its' inception.

Although the office has addressed a wide variety of project types during its history, ranging from small scale residential additions up to multimillion dollar hospital projects, publicly funded and commercial projects are the predominant focus. Many of our projects over the years have involved working closely with a diverse range of committees and departments to advance the Clients' realizations for their projects.

With nearly four decades of combined experience, Tennant/Wallace Architects has consistently:

Tennant/Wallace Architects has several design awards including an AIA New Hampshire Honor Award for the Concord Intermodal Facility.

To this end, Peter Tennant, president of Tennant/Wallace Architects is a LEED Accredited Professional.  Tennant/Wallace has a demonstrated ability to address sustainability, energy efficiency, functionality, aesthetics, and appropriateness to a given site, while simultaneously meeting the clients' budget parameters.

Tennant/Wallace Architects is selective about the projects that they undertake in order to be able to meet the needs of the client and assure that the client will be dealing directly with a principal in the firm throughout the project.

Peter Tennant, B Arch, M Arch, AIA, LEED AP

Mr. Tennant (B.Arch and M.Arch, Montana State University) is the president of Tennant/Wallace Architects AIA PA in Manchester, NH. In his 25 years of professional experience he has overseen and been responsible for a wide variety of projects including libraries, Town offices, community centers, medical office facilities, movie theaters, office buildings, retail facilities, school renovations, historical buildings, and intermodal facilities. As a large share of the work he has been involved with involves public (town, city, state, and federal) funding, he has developed a strong ability to produce documents that can withstand the rigors of open public bidding. Aside from his architectural registrations, Mr. Tennant is, and has been, LEED AP for several years.
